Kathrin Heinrich completed her studies of physics at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf and the Université de Nantes (FR) with a focus on laser spectroscopy and medical technology. She graduated in 2007 as a graduate physicist (Diplom-Physikerin). In 2011, she finished her doctorate on the detection of trace gases by infrared laser spectroscopy at the Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf.
Kathrin Heinrich completed her training as a patent attorney in a renowned Düsseldorf law firm. Kathrin Heinrich also studied law for patent attorneys at the FernUniversität in Hagen. After further stages at the Higher District Court of Düsseldorf, the German Patent and Trademark Office and the Federal Patent Court, she was admitted as a patent attorney in 2016. Kathrin Heinrich has been working in the firm since 2015.
