Prof. Dr. Dall pursued his studies in law at Bayreuth University and the University of Bonn. After the first state examination in law (juristische Staatsexam), which Dr. Dall passed with distinction in 1989, he started working on his doctor degree in law at the University of Bonn with a thesis in the field of competition law. His subsequent legal clerkship was conducted in Hamm at the Higher Regional Court (Oberlandesgericht) and Prof. Dr. Dall finished his clerkship with honors in 1993.
After many years in legal practice as a partner in a law, auditing, and tax-consulting firm, Prof. Dr. Dall established his own legal firm in Essen in the field of economic law. His work has spanned the fields of consultation, national representation of clients before civil courts, as well as arbitration proceedings, in particular in the fields of commercial law, liability of managing directors, product liability, and additionally also competition law and trademark law. The goal of his work is to provide highly qualified, pragmatic, and success-oriented representation. Additionally, Prof. Dr. Dall is active as an arbitrator.
Prof. Dr. Dall applies his practical experience in the context of his work as a university professor. He has been a professor at the University of Applied Sciences (RFH) in Cologne since March 1, 2002.
Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Dall has issued a commentary in the field of competition law and has published technical papers pertaining to current legal issues.
Prof. Dr. Dall has been a member of the examining board for the Office for Legal Examinations in North Rhine-Westphalia since 2003.
